The PLAUD Note Pro product page offers the current card-shaped recorder for phone-attached or standalone use. Its InstantView display provides status information; it is not the full-summary reading surface announced for Verso. Note Pro is also distinct from the original PLAUD Note, NotePin, NotePin S, and PLAUD One. Do not borrow another model's recording controls or compatibility assumptions.

Check the companion app before buying. PLAUD's app download guidance covers Android Bluetooth access and, on some phones, Location for discovery or connection. Grant the scope actually required by your phone and the documented feature, not every permission indiscriminately. Confirm app availability, account access, and compatibility with your own Android device and region.

The important Android exception is automatic transfer. Although the product page advertises AutoTransfer and AutoFlow, its footnote describes the relevant pipeline as iPhone-only, with Android coming soon. It also requires enabled settings, and AutoTransfer requires location permission. An Android companion app does not establish Android parity for that automation. Do not turn those into one guaranteed arrival date. Confirm the selected variant, kit sequence, shipping destination, and current estimate with checkout or support. A site being readable in your language does not establish delivery to your country.

The manufacturer's capability information describes iOS and Android companion apps. Audio can be recorded offline on the ring, then synchronized to the phone and cloud when the app is opened. That is offline capture, not offline AI transcription. Confirm that you can obtain and use the Android app with your actual account before committing.

The current Flowtica Verso preview and FAQ describes a card-sized recorder and AI companion with an e-paper touchscreen. Its anticipated price is US$299 and shipping is expected in Q4 2026. Both are provisional purchase information, not a guaranteed delivery commitment.

The page offers free registration with a 25% early offer. Registration is not a completed hardware purchase, and the percentage does not establish a final discounted transaction price after terms, taxes, or shipping. If you need a recorder for an imminent project, treat Verso as a wait option rather than available equipment.

Its distinguishing proposed benefit is the reading surface: the touchscreen is intended to show summaries, owners, and next steps on the device itself. That is different from Note Pro's small status display. It could suit someone who wants to review notes without reaching for a phone, but this is the manufacturer's announced design, not a result we observed.

On-device capture and reading must also be separated from processing. Flowtica says transcription and AI processing use its secure cloud; the screen does not make the system an offline AI recorder. The announced design has intentional press-to-start and press-to-stop recording, an indicator that cannot be disabled, and no camera. Those design statements are not an independent privacy audit or permission to record others.

Android mounting uses a magnetic ring or compatible case. Physical attachment does not establish companion-app feature parity. Before buying, ask about the supported Android setup, minimum OS, transfer workflow, AI plans, and export formats.
