Privacy Policy

1. Who controls your information

The data controller is PHOTONSPARK AI TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, Rm 602, 6/F, KAI YUE COML BLDG, 2C ARGYLE ST, Mong Kok, Hong Kong. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact support@foneclaw.ai.

2. Information processed

Depending on the features you choose and the permissions you grant, FoneClaw Lite may process:

• prompts, AI responses, tool requests, tool results, and conversation context;
• photos, videos, audio, documents, and other files you explicitly select or create;
• recordings and transcription text when you choose to record or request transcription;
• contact names and phone numbers when you authorize Contacts and request a related action;
• calendar event details when you authorize Calendar and request calendar features;
• email addresses, mail server settings, email metadata, message content, recipients, and attachments when you configure an email account and use email features;
• notification titles, text, app source, sender information, and timestamps when you separately enable Android notification access;
• approximate or precise location when you grant location permission and request a location or navigation feature;
• notes, tasks, shortcuts, Skills, preferences, and other content you create in the app;
• feedback category, description, contact email, and optional screenshot when you submit feedback; and
• technical request information such as IP address, request time, app version, request identifiers, and security or delivery logs generated by network services.

The Google Play edition does not use an Accessibility Service, read SMS or call logs, scan all installed apps, monitor your photo library in the background, install APK plugins, or update itself outside Google Play. It uses Android Photo Picker for user-selected media. Calls and text messages are handed off to an Android system screen for you to complete.

3. How information is used

We use information to:

• provide the feature you request and generate an AI response;
• upload, retrieve, analyze, transcribe, or summarize content you select;
• execute or prepare user-confirmed device, calendar, contact, email, navigation, note, and notification actions;
• save local conversation history, recordings, notes, settings, and preferences;
• respond to feedback, support requests, safety reports, and deletion requests;
• protect the service, diagnose failures, enforce usage limits, and prevent abuse; and
• comply with law and enforce our terms.

The recommended first Google Play build is compiled without Firebase Analytics. If analytics is later enabled, this policy and the Google Play Data safety form must be updated before that build is released.

4. Local and network processing

Some data remains on your device, including app databases, settings, locally saved recordings, and downloaded on-device models. Removing an item in the app deletes the local copy where the feature provides a delete action. Uninstalling the app removes app-private local data according to Android behavior.

Online AI, attachment, transcription, text-to-speech, feedback, email, Web, and related features require network processing. Information needed for the requested feature may be sent to FoneClaw services and the processors described below. FoneClaw Lite does not claim that all prompts, voice commands, contacts, notifications, email, or attachments are processed only on your device.

5. Service providers and destinations

FoneClaw-operated API, model-relay, storage, speech, and support services are managed by PHOTONSPARK AI TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED and hosted in Alibaba Cloud's western United States region. Information may also be processed by:

• FoneClaw API and model-relay services;
• the model provider selected by FoneClaw for the request;
• a custom model provider that you configure in Settings;
• Alibaba Cloud infrastructure and Object Storage acting as hosting service providers;
• FoneClaw-operated speech recognition, text-to-speech, and support services;
• your selected email, map, browser, or Android system provider when you request those integrations.

We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising. A custom model provider selected by a user processes data under that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

6. Permissions and your choices

Android permissions are optional and can be changed in Android Settings. If you deny or revoke a permission, the related feature may stop working while unrelated features remain available. Notification access and special system settings are enabled on separate Android system screens.

You can choose whether to select an attachment, record audio, request transcription, configure email, enable notification access, use location, submit feedback, or configure a custom model endpoint. Before sending sensitive data, review the permission and confirmation shown by the app.

7. AI content and safety reports

AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on an AI response as professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. Review important information before acting.

FoneClaw Lite provides an in-app way to report an individual AI response. The report form shows the message content, conversation identifier, and message identifier that will be sent to our support and safety process. You can add or edit the reason before submitting the report.

8. Security

The Google Play build blocks cleartext HTTP traffic for Android network connections. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure.

The Google Play edition accepts only SSL/TLS or STARTTLS email connections and rejects unencrypted IMAP or SMTP configuration. Never enter an email password into an untrusted server configuration.

9. Retention and deletion

Local information is retained until you delete it through an available app action, clear app storage, or uninstall the app, subject to Android backup settings. The Google Play build disables Android app backup.

Remote information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature, operate and secure the service, resolve support or safety reports, and meet legal obligations. Retention duration varies with the data type and purpose. Uploaded attachments, recordings, model-relay records, speech-processing records, feedback and safety reports, and security logs are deleted or de-identified when they are no longer needed for those purposes, unless law requires a longer period.

To request deletion of information held by FoneClaw, email support@foneclaw.ai with the subject ‘FoneClaw Lite Data Deletion Request.’ Describe the feature, approximate date, and identifiers needed to locate the data. Do not send passwords or unrelated sensitive content. We will verify the request, delete or de-identify data under our control and instruct applicable processors, then confirm completion without undue delay, unless retention is legally required.

The current Google Play build does not enable users to create a FoneClaw account. Therefore it does not present an in-app account deletion flow. If account creation is enabled in a future release, we will add both an in-app account deletion path and a public Web deletion resource before release.

10. International processing

Information is primarily processed on FoneClaw-managed infrastructure in Alibaba Cloud's western United States region and may be processed in other countries when you select an external model, email, map, browser, or Android provider. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

11. Children

FoneClaw Lite is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact support@foneclaw.ai so we can investigate and delete it where required.

12. Changes

We may update this policy when features, processors, law, or data practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes must be reflected in the Google Play Data safety form before the affected app version is released.
