Share AI Answers on Android: FoneClaw, Gemini or Claude?

Choose readable text, an editable document, an email draft or a shared snapshot. Compare Android and web routes, recipient access and delivery checks.

📋 Key Takeaways
  • Choose FoneClaw for readable plain text in another app, Gemini for a document or email draft, and Claude for a view-only chat snapshot with an appropriate audience.
  • Gemini documents Android exports to Docs and Gmail; Sheets export is web-only. Claude's named-person sharing is a web feature, not a native Android sharing route.
  • Inspect the delivered copy for complete source links, correct table relationships, missing attachments and unintended conversation context. Exporting or opening a share preview is not proof of delivery.
  • Choose access before sending. Turning off a shared link cannot recall text, screenshots or copies already held by recipients.

Choose the Delivery Format First

Once an AI answer has been reviewed, the next decision is how another person should receive it. A colleague who needs to edit a plan needs a different output from someone reading a short update in a messaging app. Start there when choosing how to share AI answers on Android.

This is a task-based comparison of FoneClaw, Gemini and Claude, supported by official documentation. It is not a hands-on test or a ranking of model quality.

Distinguish three events: preparing an output, delivering it and confirming that the recipient can use it. A draft may still be unsent. A document may exist but remain inaccessible. A link may open while exposing more context than intended.

Use a destination that meets the recipient's reading or editing needs without unnecessarily widening access. If the answer still needs wording changes, AI Writing Assistant on Android: Grammarly, QuillBot, and Where FoneClaw Fits covers that earlier review stage.

FoneClaw: Readable Text in Your Destination App

FoneClaw supports sharing answers as readable plain text with clearer headings, lists, tables and source links. This fits a reviewed answer that should become the body of a message or another app's text entry, rather than requiring the recipient to open an AI conversation.

Choose the answer you intend to share and inspect the prepared text before committing it to a destination. Check that the heading still describes the content, list items remain separate and source links retain their actual addresses. Then inspect the destination preview and send only after reviewing the recipient and content.

For a table, meaning matters more than visual resemblance. If a row pairs an option with a limitation, the limitation must remain attached to the right option after sharing. Narrow screens, proportional fonts and destination formatting can make otherwise readable columns ambiguous.

A practical fallback is to turn each row into a labeled sentence before sending. For example, 'Option: short message. Review point: recipient and source links.' That is easier to interpret than a compressed row whose columns have shifted.

Do not assume plain text will produce clickable links in every destination. Verify the complete address, not merely a label such as 'official guidance.' Likewise, do not infer native PDF or DOCX export, or a permission-controlled public link, from our text-sharing capability.

The FoneClaw Features page describes our supported capabilities. For this task, the useful result is the destination's readable copy. A successful preview is still a preparation step, not proof that the message was sent or received.

Gemini: An Editable Document or Email Draft

Gemini fits a handoff that needs editing in a document or composition in email. Google's Android export instructions require signing in. Below a response, More > Export to Docs saves a new document in Drive. More > Draft in Gmail creates a draft, not a sent message, and requires a Gmail account. Workspace export options depend on availability and settings. Export to Sheets is available in the web app for tables without images, not in the Gemini mobile app.

After export, treat the destination as a new review surface. Open the actual document and inspect its first and last sections, list order, table labels and source addresses. Give it a title that distinguishes the reviewed copy from earlier drafts.

For collaboration, decide who should read and who should edit, then check the document's sharing permissions separately. Creating the file does not establish that a colleague can open it. Do not use broad access simply because it is quicker than resolving an account mismatch.

For email, inspect the destination account, recipients, subject and body. Remove drafting instructions or comments that were useful during generation but do not belong in the message. If the answer mentions an attachment, confirm that the intended file is actually attached; an exported sentence saying 'see attached' is not an attachment.

Gemini also has a different mobile conversation-sharing route. It creates a public link to the entire conversation, and uploaded images are shared and downloadable. Some work or school responses and responses with other attached files cannot be shared. Anyone with the link can view or forward it. Inspect the whole conversation before choosing that route instead of exporting a single response.

Claude: A Snapshot for the Right Audience

Claude fits a handoff where the recipient should inspect a conversation snapshot rather than edit a document. Two sharing routes have different audience requirements; choose the audience before distributing the link.

For sharing with specific people, Claude documents a web-only route on all plans. On the web, open Share, enter addresses under People with access and select Send. Recipients must use the exact invited email account; a free account is sufficient. The snapshot is view-only: they cannot continue it or copy it into their Claude account. Later messages require an explicit snapshot update. Invitations can be removed or sharing turned off. Team and Enterprise sharing stays within the organization. Attached files are excluded except in the documented organization-sharing case. Do not present these instructions as a native Android menu.

The separate public-link route is available on Free, Pro and Max. Anyone holding the link can view the snapshot without a Claude account; attachments are not included. Public sharing is not the Team or Enterprise route. A noindex instruction is not confidentiality. Turning sharing off stops the link, not copies or screenshots.

Before either route, read the full material being exposed, not just the final answer. A response can repeat private facts from a source file even when that file itself is excluded. A harmless final paragraph does not make earlier prompts suitable for sharing.

Ask whether conversation context is genuinely useful to the recipient. If they need only a short conclusion, including the drafting exchange can add confusion and unnecessary disclosure. If they need to understand how a conclusion was qualified, the snapshot may be appropriate after review.

Also check whether the recipient needs an editable working copy. View-only access is not collaboration on the same document. Explain what feedback you want and where they should provide it, rather than expecting the shared chat to become a joint editing space.

Compare the Recipient's Actual Result

Use a nonsensitive sample to compare delivery routes on your own phone. The following is a suggested worksheet, not a report of tests, screenshots or pass ratings.

Prepare a reviewed answer headed 'Workshop handoff checklist.' Include three items: confirm the audience, inspect the source references and approve the final copy. Add a two-column table with three body rows:

OutputReview point
Short messageCorrect recipient and readable text
Editable documentCorrect account and editing access
Read-only snapshotIntended audience and conversation scope

Include two public official references with descriptive labels: Google's response-export instructions and Claude's public-sharing guidance. This sample contains delivery checks, not fabricated research findings.

Prepare the equivalent content in the route you are evaluating. Inspect it as a recipient using an authorized account or ask an intended collaborator to check a harmless sample. Do not expose private material just to make the comparison easier.

  • Text completeness: The heading, all three items and the final sentence are present.
  • Table meaning: Each output remains paired with its correct review point.
  • Source recovery: Both references lead to the intended official pages; labels have not replaced missing addresses.
  • Audience: The intended person can open the result under the required account and access conditions.
  • Scope: No unrelated prompts, private facts or earlier drafting material appear.
  • Usability: The recipient can read or edit as intended, without depending on an absent attachment.

Record the specific mismatch and repair it. One successful handoff demonstrates that particular copy and destination, not guaranteed formatting in every app.

Fix Broken Formatting, Links and Access

Diagnose the delivered object rather than assuming the AI answer itself changed. The original may remain correct while a destination flattens its layout, a recipient uses another account or the shared copy becomes stale.

When repairing a link, check the destination as well as whether it opens. A working link to the wrong source does not preserve the evidence behind the answer. If the source has changed, recheck the claim before redistributing it.

Keep corrections narrow. If only a row label is wrong, identify that correction instead of silently resending a long answer with unexplained differences. When recipients may already be acting on an earlier copy, state which instruction or conclusion changed.

For a source-based news answer, AI News Search and Summaries on Android with FoneClaw covers checking the research before handoff. This delivery workflow begins after that verification; attractive formatting cannot repair unsupported information.

Manage the Shared Copy After Sending

Choose by recipient need, not by which model produced the answer. Plain text suits a compact message in an existing conversation. A document suits editing and collaboration. A snapshot suits read-only review of a checked exchange. A public nonsecret bulletin and a named colleague's review should not receive the same access decision by default.

Maintain a clear title and revision label for content that may change. Tell recipients which copy is current and whether an earlier message is superseded. If you export, paste and share a link to the same answer, you have created several objects to manage, not one automatically synchronized publication.

Where the service supports revocation, turn off access you no longer intend and verify the setting. That cannot recall plain text already sent or erase a recipient's saved copy, screenshot or archive. Choose the narrowest suitable disclosure before sending rather than relying on later withdrawal.

Account, plan and regional availability still apply, especially when a web workflow is used from Android. A documented web feature is not proof that an equivalent button exists in the native app.

For an itinerary, recipient needs also include the actual travel details and shared-plan state. Create, Edit and Share a Travel Itinerary on Android: Verify Every Step covers that specialized handoff. For any answer, finish by checking the object the recipient actually receives, its audience and its current version.
